Still gettin it!
You're correct and underscore my issue as to why the cert is seen as so important on that list. The role is easily, and usually is, replaced. What the role entails depends on the organization. In my experience, Ive seen the following:
The cheerleader would exist in an org that is very Agile and succesful. Typically the SM role is sunsetted in instances like that as the teams are mature enough to function with no SM.
- SM/Developer who in reality is just a developer who runs meetings
- Former Project Manager who now is an SM due to an Agile transformation
- Servant Leader who is truly focused on continuous improvement. Influences quantifiable change each iteration.
I guess they have their place on a directionless team/org or those without any Senior architects/devs having experience in all phases of delivering solutions.
But im admittedly biased due to being the latter.
You'll need that fundamental knowledge of networking you'd acquire with Network+ if you decide to and get into cloud administration/infrastructure so you cant go wrong there.Anyone got any knowledge on AWS I'm trying to decide if I want to do that or Network+ the cloud looks interesting. I'm wanting to go on the Networking path.
