One of the best parts of SXSW is the element of surprise – free giveaways, secret guests, and artists premiering never before seen tracks. Just now, at our Mass Appeal Live at the BBQ Showcase, Nas took part in that time-honored tradition to debut an unreleased track with J Dilla titled “The Sickness.” Watch the clip above to see Nas’s tribute to the late producer, and the first chance to experience the duo trade bars over an experimental and funky beat, produced by Madlib.
