sounds promising.

Them crackas gave zero fukks about that song.

its like that for a lot of shows at SXSW.
i think they're all too high and full and just kind of take it in..i've only seen a few were people really into it.

i watched the stream of Dipset at The Smokers House/Club last year.

had like a backyard set up..show was boring, people high and sort of swaying and everybody including Dipset got bored by the end, same night they later did a show with Kaytrandra and Freddie Gibbs and they killed that shyt.

Future was good there i think around when FBG: The Movie tape came out.

One of the best parts of SXSW is the element of surprise – free giveaways, secret guests, and artists premiering never before seen tracks. Just now, at our Mass Appeal Live at the BBQ Showcase, Nas took part in that time-honored tradition to debut an unreleased track with J Dilla titled “The Sickness.” Watch the clip above to see Nas’s tribute to the late producer, and the first chance to experience the duo trade bars over an experimental and funky beat, produced by Madlib.

“The Sickness” will be available exclusively on the iTunes version J Dilla’s forthcoming album, The Diary, available now on iTunes. Until then, view the video of our showcase above.

how many posthumous Dilla albums are they going to release? :why:

they milking that man's legacy for all it's worth :francis:

Madlib is right
Madlib: “Don’t think I’m going to get exploited like they’re doing to Dilla.”

In a new interview with Stones Throw producer Madlib, the regular J Dilla collaborator expresses his concern with his former sparring partner’s posthumous releases.

When asked about what will happen to his unreleased music, Madlib replies “I’m gonna burn it down before I die, a little Lee Perry action. Ain’t nobody exploiting my shyt. If I was dying in hospital I’d tell my son to go and burn it. Don’t think I’m going to get exploited like they’re doing to Dilla. I’m learning from how he’s being treated from some people.”
