I have nothing against having a young qb sitting. Just don't see what bringing an old washed up brittle vet who will hang it up real soon brings.i didn't argue one way or another for romo, just disagreed with the premise of sitting a season or two being outdated, especially since the day 1 starter motif hasn't been a smashing success either![]()

but they did kinda sway me to the chip Kelly needs to go this year side of the arguments. Basically, giving chip a second year with what we've seen from him and where them team is isn't any different than giving him one year, so it comes down to he's either one and done or you feel comfortable giving him 3-4 years because nothing is happening in year two (well maybe 3-4 more wins). If we get a new GM, year two isn't enough time to see if chip does better with presumably better talent.
