I doubt it, there's been no talk of him with Philly, and I maintain that getting Magic probably sealed the deal. He's gonna have dudes fathers in the meetings with him acting like kids meeting their hero.

Kawhi is delusional. Dude isn't getting endorsement money because he has no personality. Get that supermax dummy.

This doesn’t matter nearly as much as everyone thinks in 2018.

:russell:

Westbrook is a superstar in OKC. Stop it.
It does matter depending on who you are. For LeBron James and Kevin Durant, it doesn't really matter. For players who don't care for that stuff it doesn't really matter. Russell Westbrook is a superstar in OKC but he is eclectic and a fashionista that's how dude has endorsements with Mountain Dew, True Religion, Jordan.

Kawhi is in San Antonio selling this dry personality, and yes this all matters to him and his uncle/camp. That is why that report that Kawhi wanted out came out earlier in the season. I don't know if you've noticed but Kawhi's been trying to be more marketable that's why he was in that Gatorade commercial and those negotiations with Jordan brand fell through because he felt low-balled. In Los Angeles, his jersey sales would sky rocket, and he would generally have more endorsements and network connections.

Why can't you Lakers fans just be patient? :snoop:

Trading youth for stars doesn't work. Ingram and Kuzma have a lot of potential. In 2-3 years that core of Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Randle would all be hitting their stride.

But Shaq and Kobe had swagger. Kawhi being on some bum 6th seed team for the next 5 years wouldn't make him some global icon.

The Clippers team I outlined wouldn't be a bum 6th seed for the next 5 years. :comeon:

there hasn’t been a player in any sport, probably EVER that became some manufactured star in Los Angeles.

That shyt is a myth.

Every sports star in LA was a legit star who came up in LA (Kobe, Magic) or was a star FAR before they got there (Gretzky, Shaq)
