TMac was so much better than Kobe. LOL
nikka talking like he thinks he was really that guy.

No. The best you can say is he was Kobe's equal in a taller/longer body. However, he lacked Kobe's intangibles when it came to killer instinct, work ethic, etc. which is ultimately why he never reached the same heights Kobe did.

T-Mac was more gifted but it takes more than natural gifts to be better. Intangibles are what gave Kobe the edge.

Derozan style of play is similar to Kobe offensively but that’s where it stops.

His skills, feet work and angles are nowhere near prime Bean. He’s basically a half priced great value version of The Gawd.

Demar would have won rings with shaq....kobe was trash those first two rings. Demar could avg 16 points on 36% shooting....IDC what y'all nikkas say

im sure anyone or others who have played Durant will say the same.

So Kobe is not being spiteful as dumbass Bron fans think he is.

Im sure if you asked Jimmy butler, Kwahi, and other elite defenders they will tell you the same.

durant is harder to guard than Lebron

Exactly. This ain't just Kobe. Almost every big time perimeter defender says the same thing.

LeBron gets half his points in transition or off pick n rolls switches where the team defense messes up and he takes advantage driving to the paint. LeBron is not the type to just isolate a guy and destroy him one on one. That's what gets to elite NBA players. They're not gonna trip if you are getting points in the open court. Or if you are scoring off switches or team defense breakdowns where you get in the paint.

To the elite NBA defender, the guy who is the toughest cover is the guy who is scoring on you one on one over and over again that you can't stop. That is not LeBron's game. He's trying to pass or get in the paint through pick n rolls. LeBron ain't squaring nikkas up one on one and just putting the bizness on them like KD. That is why almost every big time NBA defender says KD is the toughest cover. Cause he's scoring in your face over and over again. He ain't scoring only off fast breaks or picks or team defensive breakdowns. He scoring on you one on one and in your face.

Since all you know are stats, go and look up Kobe's stats in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Portland Trailblazers that year. Then look up Shaq's stat line that game.

Now tell me you think Derozan coulda put up that same performance in that big of a game when he can't even get a single win over a pathetic Cavs team in the Eastern Conference playoffs?

:yeshrug: I been said in past threads that Kobe wasn't a definitively better player than K.D. & prime T-Mac (You can also throw prime Dwayne Wade in the conversation). Glad to see Kobe validating my talking points.

Most players co-sign this as well. You rarely hear elite defenders talk about LeBron being their toughest cover. Guys like Grant Hill have been on TV and said Kobe and KD were their toughest covers. Tayshaun Prince said the same.

LeBron scores a lot of points in transition, off pick n rolls, and he passes a lot. Guys don't consider a guy who runs the floor well and gets points in transition or who needs picks to get you off as a tough cover. If you've played basketball, you would know the guys who are the toughest cover are guys with elite one on one scoring ability. Guys who get you in isolation and can just break you down. Guys who don't need picks to get you off. Those are the toughest covers. And that's not LeBron's game which is why he's rarely mentioned by NBA players as their toughest cover.

Kobe, KD, and even Carmelo are always mentioned as the toughest guys to guard of the last 20 years.
Once again this thread has nothing to do with LeBron. The thread is about who Kobe viewed as his hardest matchups.

The defrozen comparison isn’t catching on breh. Just admit you never watched Kobe play and shut the fukk up.
Breh really said Lebron owned Kobe's entire life :mjlol:

We all know the only person Kobe was competing with was Jordan

Kobe also stated that Brandon Roy was the toughest player to defend
Too soon, breh :mjcry:
