the lack of interest for fitzpatrick said it all. you had teams like the broncos, rams, texans, eagles, 9ers, browns and even cowboys who needed a QB or at least a backup and they made no offer. week 17 vs the bills is his career in a nut shell and signing him would be a waste of money and a roster spot imo.

on the bright side, the jets will still suck for at least a couple of years and will have a good chance of drafting Sam Darnold. hopefully they can put together a good team by then.

Iljana ended up being better than Clady anyways. Giving up a pick for someone elses trash is what bad teams do. Clady would have ended up getting cut...it was a totally useless trade.

6ft.if he's 205lbs then I'm 225...Petrino simplified his playbook for his playing style. That if my first option isn't there, tuck it and run shyt won't work in the league......see the Clemson game when he had to make throws into tight windows and/or make anticipatory throws, he was off the mark. Teams late in the season were willing to let him run. He can clean it up but still don't see him being able to be even be Tyrod Taylor.
