nikka, I had fractures in BOTH legs and ran that shyt... On painkillers... And I was always in the middle of the pack. I played command flag football, basketball, and soccer with it too

They kept telling me it was just shin splints, I ran almost 8 months with fractures. It wasn't until I kept complaining to my doctor and they finally did a MRI did i find out. Doing that shyt fukked up everything.
Happens a lot.

I had an AC tear in my shoulder, torn bicep, and torn labrum for nearly 2 years before I got my stuff properly looked at. Between the forced mentality of toughing through stuff, ignoring 'small' pains in general, the tempo of the work week, and the threat of losing normalcy over an injury... a lot of stuff just doesn't even get acknowledged and people end up powering through things that would immediately sideline someone on the civilian side.

Never failed a PT test either.

Went through Air Force basic training about 10 years ago. That shyt was easy then and if it's easier now then :mjlol: Most of that stuff is mental. They would yell make you do physical stuff if you messed up or punish the whole flight if one person messed up. I just kept my mouth shut, faded in the background and did what I was told and breezed on through.

Word, if basic is softer than what it was in 2001 when I went in, that shyt is laughable. I remember gettin' to my first base and havin' to take my PT test, nikkas was outside smokin' at the HAWC, like "Lemme hurry up and take this test...nikka rode a bike for 7 minutes I was like" :ohhh:

i feel u on that i played command basketball and post flag football. had a collapsed lung for almost 2 weeks and still pass the test the following day i was like man this strain chest muscle hurts go too E.R.

look at me how u walking around doing shyt with a collapsed lung got admitted for a few days got my chest tube and all :snoop:

i got in 2001 basic was easy just a mind games i even went along with that shyt and they drill instructors knew so they use too smoke me just for the hell of it :laff: only thing was a pain is they really killed us in working out even the people in shape didnt hang and there was a reason for it

but i knew one thing they were pissed cuz they were suppose too get mp trainees something happened too where they didnt and got a bunch of random diff mos soldiers and they made a goal that we will break the post pt test and eoct test so they would work us out like no other that part was a fukking pain these asses even brought in army olympic participant who ran 2 miles like in fukking 9 mins and if u were like me fast u were screwed

the avg company pt score which we had bout 200 think soldiers was 280 with females in it as a avg. over 80% maxed the test
eoct test we got all go's 100%

if I'm correct that record still stands

When I got to my first base they had gotten rid of the bike test and we were doing the waist measurement, 1.5 mile run, pushups and situps. Which was still easy unless you were a fatass.(Which surprisingly there were a lot of) I heard they've cracked down and have started kicking nikkas out for failing test though.

Yea, if you have 2 failure in 3 years you basically getting the boot.

They trying to kick nikkas out for anything now a days though. Back in the day, cats had DUI's, ARI's, w/e and the let them stay in. Ever since the recession and mofos started beating down the door to get into the military, they've been picky

They can't curse at you? Pretty pathetic.
Thats bullshyt

Everyone curses. They're just encouraged not to

It really is a game though. Like for us, our drills/rdc's were trying to get us to win shyt so it would look good on their evals when they went up for chief, or Senior Chief. We were all numbers, so if our division looked like hot shyt, then they looked like hot shyt. Once our marching competition was over, they didn't give a fukk about what we did. Last 2 weeks of bootcamp were like paradise. We would "field day" which is basically cleaning all day... Except we did it like everyday. nikkas would be sleeping in the bathrooms, under the racks, in the laundry rooms, etc.no one gave a fukk anymore

Bootcamp is the easiest part of being in the military... No matter what branch you're in

Yea breh THAT shyt Is Dirty tho. Alot of dudes getting the boot that stayed in despite deployments. I mean I been in for 14 and I'll be pissed if they "let me go". That's a lot of time wasted.

The biggest problem wasn't random rape parties or whole units passing one chick around - it was serial rape. That's the thing the media never understood (sexual harassment was a different story). People with multiple victims over the span of years and the majority of the attacks going unreported for various reasons.
