I'm insecure about my strength though.I have been mostly using weight machines since I started because I felt I was too weak to handle barbells properly and I didn't want to look stupid.I am definitely stronger now than when I started and my arms are showing a little bit of definition/muscle but I still can't do pull ups without a assist and I haven't even tried to do push ups to even attempt to dead lift.
until you embrace that barbell only skinny fat will be in your future

routines like Stronglifts and Starting Strength are catered to beginners of any type. Dont sleep on it, screw others at the gym. Theres no way you cant lift just the bar(45lbs)![]()
I need some help!! I really need to work on my cardio. I do a lot of strength training and I include pylometrics (is that what they call the exercises like squat jumps?). I run and walk but it's becoming boring and I like to switch things up. Sometimes I play basketball and raquetball in the AM but I don't think i'm exerting myself much b/c i play alone. What can I do to get my cardio fix?
I try to do cardio and strength training on the same day, usually everyday. Should I split up like that -but it'll be ST 4 days/wk and cardio 3 days/wk?
i had followed this 'diet' earlier, around april or so, and went from 170 to 165 in about 2 weeks time. i lost the motivation and will power and stoppedjust picked it up the past three weeks and have gone from 171 to 163

the phat workout while doing this is a bit tough but im gonna keep with it.
another question. how do i maintain this weight after im done cutting? just follow the maintenance for my new weight?
