Nothing really I suppose if I ever regain I'll lose it again. I'd hardly call having to lose 40 pounds square one because it was originally 80 pounds.

I think I have pretty much gotten everything out of these morning bootcamps. I'm going to check out a few gyms this week. Gotta get that membership and move them barbells.

I've been near the same weight for about months...been getting stronger, but damn. :snoop: What is my needed calorie intake for gaining .5lb. a week? I need some way to eat more daily...maybe two protein shakes (60g protein per shake w/out milk). :to:

whole milk is king

increase cals by 300-500 and increase the protein macro to 1g per lb bodyweight(desired)

What's the best kind of cardio to burn fat? (AKA Is what I'm doing good or should I change something?)

I'm 5'8" and 166 lbs. Right now after my workout, I've been walking for 5 minutes at 3 mph, then jogging for 5 minutes at 5mph and then running for 10-13 minutes at 6 mph followed by a 5 minute cool down.

The ADD Update: 8/2/2012

Brehs I was struggling from the third week of July through the end. Mentally and physically I was tapped out. Cruising through workouts and my weight was holding right at 180. I think being that dialed in on cardio and body weight combined with being strict on the diet every single day broke me a little.

All that said I took a break diet wise (eating a maintenance) based on threads and suggestion here and got through the last 10 days of camp. Last weekend I pretty much ate what I wanted but I was sick so it wasn't too bad. Monday morning I was at 184-185. Joined the gym and caught them at the right time to get some personal training sessions free.

I'm going to work with them a few times a week for the next month just to get by base and technique right since this is going to be part of the regular routine. Definitely looking at more protein on lift days but still trying to run 500-600 below maintenance. I'm not going to worry about the scale to much unless I start gaining rapidly. Already worked of the 4-5 pounds as of this morning so I'm back at 180.

That first lifting session (chest, arms and core) had me feeling like:

Any tips for someone switching their workout routine from afternoon/evening to early morning? Did it yesterday and my body was all :ohlawd::noah:

I'm insecure about my strength though.I have been mostly using weight machines since I started because I felt I was too weak to handle barbells properly and I didn't want to look stupid.I am definitely stronger now than when I started and my arms are showing a little bit of definition/muscle but I still can't do pull ups without a assist and I haven't even tried to do push ups to even attempt to dead lift.
