how much did you weigh when you first figured your maintenance?

Initially back in March I was going of 220-225, can't remember exactly.

Between you and OCMF we have re calibrated so I don't think that's it.

From March until this month I was really on running and doing push-ups. This month I've been doing bootcamp camps a 5:45 every morning for an hour. It's not lifting weights (going push them barbells soon) but it has clearly more muscle resistance involved than what I was doing. I'm thinking I was losing more everything (muscle, fat, etc) until this month and to some degree so of the gains have be zeroing out :manny:

Indeed, I'm in this for the long haul. Gotta go get that gym membership this week.

Next March's one year recap is going to be :lawd:

all you need to lose weight. if you can burn about 500-1000 extra calories a day you can eat whatever you want within reason. eat 3 meals a day 800 or so calories a meal.
i was losing 5 pounds a week like that.

my basic regimine is you have to earn the junk food you eat by burning the calories off somehow. i lost 80 pounds in about 4-5 months like that.

Props. I'm gonna use this. I'm pretty good at staying away from junk during the week (I relax it a bit on the weekend), but my basic premise is to get real sweaty at some point every day.

What do you guys recommend for protein and calorie intake for gaining at least .5lbs a week?

How can I start lifting with only free weights? My apartment has a gym in it that only has it and i'm not trying to spend some extra money on gym membership. Help?

I did super sets yesterday and I'm pissed. I went in there and busted my ass and left that bytch soaking wet. I wake up this morning and my muscles ain't even remotely sore. I feel like that shyt was more of a cardio exercise than try to build me some muscle.

I started out with free weights. You can do hit every body part just with dumb bells. Go on bodybuilding.com and look up exercises using dumb bells. That's what I did.

ideally if you had my and others mentality, the ideal routine during a cut is heavy weight low reps with the intent preserving strength/muscle

as i said, any routine will do, but if you had a choice and access to barbells strength routines are king for cutting

maintenance of 3200

cutting numbers 2400-2700

eat within that range everyday for roughly 2 months, then reanalyze the numbers

if you follow the guide to the T(no liquid cals, 20/1 ratio of cals to protein) youll lose 1-3lbs a week

start a lifting routine as soon as possible
