Estimated Calorie Requirements

This site doesn't work for me. The calculator is screwing up. Can you input my data and tell me

I'm 6'1, 210 pounds and 23. You can put it 20 rest, 3 light and 1 moderate like you suggested.

What are my calories to maintain and how much do I need to cut back? Thanks a lot man.

2644 - maintenance

2144 - cutting cals(max)

Thanks breh. I also multiplied my weight 210 by .38 to get my daily protein intake - 77 grams(suggested by this website Protein Info - How Much Protein Do You Need). Should I add on to that if I'm trying to gain more muscle?

Also, cheat days. How many do you allow yourself? I allow one or two a month - but I try to stick to one. My cheat day in march is gonna be an organic pizza pie topped with mushrooms and redpeppers, a 5 pound bag of gummy bears and a bag of flaming hot cheetohs :ahh:

You have a great thing going here. Much respect for your guide.

you need ideally upwards 170g per day(minimum of 140g)

77 isnt enough for women let alone a 6 foot 200 lb man :what:

there are no such thing as cheat days in my method. Because i dont outline "what" you eat just how much of it(calores/protein)

Sounds good!!! I'm going to have to try it.

I found some tortillas under a 20 and did some black bean, spinach and corn burritos. I added some pepper jack cheese and they were soo good.

Fiber One has a protein bar that's an 18 and I've been swapping that out for chocolate or candy. It's still sweet so it's been doing the job, plus I'm still in ratio.

What is your maintenance calories and how much over that are you consuming?

As far as your thyroid goes, just don't let them talk you into taking medication for it. If if you want to chalk up not being able to gain to your thyroid, go ahead, but don't let doctors go trying to "fix it".

maintenance is 2000 and im eating 2500.

im not making excuses as to why im not gaining weight. my blood test came back with the diagnosis, im not gonna just ignore it. but all my lifts are going up and ive been strict with my macros for about two months now and only have about 1lb to show for it. hence why im seeing if i should up my calories to 2800-3000 range and see what results it brings.

Well it's typically 500-800 less to lose, so I'm thinking with gaining you deal with the same ranges. Hell if I know, but it just makes sense to me so maybe increasing a few hundred calories will get you where you need to be.

Not telling your to ignore your bloodwork or that you're making excuses, I just don't want you to take any medication for it, from what I've read having a hyperactive thyroid doesn't put you at risk for anything but being unable to gain weight LOL!! Maybe you're not meant to be big.

i would bump up by 100 cal increments

the goal is lifting more and more weight, not unnecessary weight gain

bulking =/= larger number on the scale

bulking = looking bigger and stronger than you did yesterday

CRITIQUE MY FORM. this is my first time doing squats and I plan on uploading a video of me doing them when I get home from work help me out brehs. I think I might have done too much weight bc that shyt felt like it corrected and readjusted my spine by the 3rd time I went down. Like all the bad posture habits I build up throughout life were forcibly corrected in a split second. :merchant:
