Aight..So Im at 97 kilos and 1.78 metres (dont know what that is in your scales exactly, hope you do, lol). I exercised or ate right last time in highschool (graduated 06). So a lot fukkin fat there. I hate gyms and liftin weights, can I replace all of this by running outside and doing mad pushups, sit ups etc? Im trying to look right in 2 months. Any advice? Of course I am going to keep getting more in shape for ever, and eat right too. But I wanna swag out in a bit over 2 months already. Can the 1/20 ratio, carb watching on top, and hometraining + running total 4x a week do the trick?

If you dont adequately train your muscles for growth, you will lose muscle

there are various calesthinics that are more difficult than normal, but unless you have godly genetics i strongly recommend lifting.

remember, everyone starts somewhere. Just realize that without lifting unless you already have a decent base, you may lose a bunch of weight and end up frail(thus why you lift)

its your call, as stated in the guide you WILL lose weight(just not necessarily 100% fat if not lifting)

pepsi max is great

i'll say this though, someone told me this, if you want exact results you gonna have to do exact work

im not overly meticulous about what i eat, but i do know calorie/protein wise of everything i ingest

and truth be told, how hard you go in the gym "strength" wise really is important for muscle preservation in the prospect of cutting

it took alot of time to realize how delusional i was about how much weight i had on me, that has been the toughest part foreal. setting these goals of 180 then 170 then 160 and shyt now im 153 and i might be 140 before im cut cut, eitherway. The part about trusting the mirror and tape measure is legit(especially for bulking too)

I'm realizing that now. My goal is maybe 160-170. I still need to lose at least a dub :sadbron:

that keeping a water jug around at all times is real talk. been lifting heavy last cpl of weeks i noticed i came down 3 lbs on the gym scale. i was 175, came down to 172. still got a good ways to go bodyfat wise. i can feel the muscle under my stomach just got a layer of fat above that wont show it. gonna up the water intake. for those who like to eat cereal wit the milk etc, try lactaid milk. its got a higher protein per serving, no fat. play wit the numbers using that fitnesspal app ive been able to keep my calories under what it says is the daily limit if i wanna come down in wt. 1620 is says by the way.

SINY!!
Awesome thread

At 32, I pay more attention to my health. Yes its nice to look fit and in shape, but my primary concern these days is good health. Ive dropped 40lbs since November (went from 200 to 158, I am only 5'7")

-No red meat. I get my protein from chicken & turkey. In fact even times when I cheated for a steak or a burger.....Ive gotten violently sick after....so no red meat at all.
-No more soda/juice/soft drinks which was a big thing for me. Its always water, and when I do need something different Ill go with Vitamin Water.
-A lot of cardio......two sessions a day on the elliptical. In the summer, I usually ride my bike down to the beach and do laps on the boardwalk.
-No sweets.....once in a while I will cheat, but Ive done well sticking to this.

Eventually I will have to return to a gym, because the free weights downstairs in my sisters apt arent cutting it.

i still drink diet soda, and milk time to time(protein shakes)

the liquid cals that dont have protein in them have to be dropped though

Started Eating Better And Exercising April 2nd

Stayed 100% Committed, No Cheating, And As Of Today Im Down 30lbs

I'll Share Some Pics But They Are Bad Pics As Far As Compairisons Go, I Never Had It In Mind To Take Before And After Shots So I Just Scrounged Up Any Pix I Could That Would Look Ok In A Side By Side

Mind You Im Not Where I Wanna Be, I Def Need To Lose More Weight But I Had A Fellow Poster PM Me About What I Was Doing And How He Had Some Struggles Losing And Occasionally Cheating. Im Far From A Poster Boy For Losing Weight, Just A Regular Dude Who Started Eating Better And Exercising.

Just Wanted To Let The Guys Out There That Are Having Trouble Know Just Stick With It Bruhs. shyt Becomes So Routine It's Not Even A Diet Anymore It's Just Everyday Life.

Watch Ya Calorie Intake And Stop Forcing Ya'self To Eat Nasty shyt You Dont Like, You Can Eat And Lose Weight Eating GOOD Food, Look Up Recipes, Get Creative With Your Dinner, Eat Low Calorie Snacks, Sip On Gatoraid When You're Tired Of Water, If You Gave Up Bread Occasionally Have Some Wheat Bread, Eat That shyt As Toast In The Morning With Some Low Cal I Cant Believe It's Not Butter

A Big Thing People Struggle With Is "Giving Up" That Devily Delicious "Good Food"

You Dont Have To Eat Salads And Celerey Sticks And Lower You're Moral For Eating, That Sets You Up For Failure.

This Past Memorial Day Weekend I Had 4 Days Off And Ate The Most I Have In Damn Near 2 Months, Im Talking I Had RIBS With BBQ Sauce, Yellow Rice, Porkchops, BBQ'd Shrimp, A fukking Chicken Sandwich From Checkers, And Guess What, I Weighed Myself On Tuesday And I Lost 3lbs From When I Last Weighed Myself 10 Days Before That

How?

Cuz I Knew I Was Gonna Eat That shyt For Dinner So I Made Sure I Had A Lower Calorie Intake Through The Daytime, Drank A Ton Of Water, Ran And Walked Hardbody, Did A Little Bit Of Weight Training And Went To The Pool And Swam For 2 Of The 4 Days

Dont Think Of It As A Chore My Chunky Brothers, Get Ya Mind Right 1st, Then Get Informed (MMS Already Put Up A Nice Tutorial For People) And Also Have Fun With It

definitely a noticeable change, keep working hard

it will pay off

as dude just said DONT BE AFRAID TO EAT FOOD YOU LIKE, focus on getting protein requirements and eat what YOU like and lift regularly

its easy and echoing kolo, it will become a lifestyle if you make it your own
