I just completed listening to the album for the ninth time and I am convinced that it shyts on most rap albums released throughout the entire 1990s. The 90s were seen as a golden age for hip hop and rightfully so, but the levels of lyrical depth and production is almost completely unmatched. I can't imagine an album like this dropping in '95 and I am sure even Pac's knees would buckle under the greatness. MMBS is certifiably one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time and one of the greatest albums in music, period:wow:

EDIT: I'm semi-trolling to piss off the Coli oldheads, be easy on me:whoa:

Above the fray.
90s albums have replay value. Years and even decades later. See if that applies to KL's latest album.
Also, the way I see it......music has evolved, as it should. But lyrical and production zenith in hip hop were in the 1990s. Besides the better known lyricists, Organized Konfusion and Souls of Mischief had bars and flows that people still haven't surpassed.

Nikkas need to stop making threads while under the influence of powerful substances.

Nonsensical jibber-jabber be sounding like profound shyt.

The 90s…lol. It doesn’t even touch some of the 2000s best rap albums.

K dots, high pitched, Mickey Mouse voice is what will forever hold him back in my book. Next to 90s pac, biggi, jay and dmx this guy sounds like a boy who’s nuts never dropped.it’s not as bad as it used to be but he still has an annoying Mic presence.

Name a rapper now, that's making a deep album like K Dot? Y'all complain about modern rap all day being weak and shallow but hit with an counterexample y'all are speechless.

Man people were having trouble with OutKast’s career trajectory but you think THIS album would’ve flown in the 90’s?!? :mjlol: Man this shyt is more in the PM Dawn lane to me and we know how PM Dawn were treated back then. I actually like PM Dawn’s first album now and think they were way ahead of their time.
