I like Kendrick since his section .80 and GKMC days but this album ain’t it bro…. Out of allll those tracks only like 5 or 6 of them are dope…. Album sounds like he tried waaayyy too hard to be different… album just doesn’t sound very good…. Certain tracks you find yourself asking “where is he going with this and why is he talking about this?” And on others the production is just God awful.

This would be ok in the 90’s … like a 90’s concept album that non hip hop heads wouldn’t remember … like a Prince Paul - Prince Among Thieves or maybe like a third best De La Album

But for today it’s crazy good

90s albums have replay value. Years and even decades later. See if that applies to KL's latest album.
Also, the way I see it......music has evolved, as it should. But lyrical and production zenith in hip hop were in the 1990s. Besides the better known lyricists, Organized Konfusion and Souls of Mischief had bars and flows that people still haven't surpassed.
I wholeheartedly concur, friend.
