You act as if capitalism is a one way street. Just like adults have the right to seek employment, companies have the right to set prerequisites for employment. There are plenty of jobs you can get at 18 and fresh out of HS...NBA player just ain't one of them much like doctor, lawyer, engineer, executive, pro coach or the variety of other jobs that have prereqs and nobody bats an eye.
Obviously its not a one way street but the pre-requisites have to also be lawful..what they are doing now isnt illegal, especially due to CBA..but the pre-reqs for many jobs mean that the people dont get hired, not that they cant throw their application towards the job anyway. No one would be forcing any teams to "hire" any of these players.
. If the paradigm had never shifted you wouldn't even miss them. Everybody wants to talk about what a player should be allowed to do and what is fair to them but nobody wants to talk about expectations for that player. If your argument is about what you will eventually become then you have no argument right now. I personally am not trying to watch your growing pains and ups and downs and baby sitting (part of the reason I don't really fukk with college like that) but that's just me
.

You really think teams would gamble on missing out on talent just to make a specious point?
. Got to a Hollywood studio talking about I wanna audition for the lead in the next Avengers and see how you are allowed to apply.
