The green screen shyt is looking too corny at times nowadays. Tech nowadays is supposed to make shyt look BETTER not worse.

Marvel figured out they can just change things in post production if they filmed scenes a certain way.
Problem is unless it has the same care as Infinity War shyt just stands out as bad. Although movie quality aside I didnt have a problem with the CGI in DS2 from what I remember.
So maybe experienced comic book directors like the Russos and Raimi just know how to handle it better.

Namor is a hard character tbh he flies with little wings on his feet and he can swim fast in the deepest of oceans. He's got a wide range of abilities for CGI to cover plus he wears little to no armor a lot of the time.

Duke is smart and the way he tip toed around the recast question leads me to believe black panther’s recast will happen and possibly hinted at in this film. I can understand the casts emotions tho too to be on a set with so many people that look like u and understand what u talkin about.

James Wan had little trouble. Underwater scenes for Aquaman were good. marvel can spend the money on underwater scenes.

Aquaman's CGI was better than BP1's but it was still pretty damn cartoony. It's extremely difficult to pull off convincing creatures and environments like that with CGI.
James Cameron will probably do it with Avatar 2 because he's spent damn near 3 years perfecting and combing over every detail, but these superhero films are on strict assembly line schedule and they're not going devote that much effort and time to them unfortunately.
