Is it me or is on ball defense not effective? I swear last year you at least had to work to get past a defender(aka me) Now dudes are just turboing and getting to the rim at will. They even score at way too,high a percentage if you switch to the rotating man and contest. Don't get me started on the absolutely trash post defense where you get bullied or sometimes clipped through. They did a complete 180 on defense this year because so many ppl bytched about 17

This community is God awful. Do people who buy sports game know the sports? Why am I running plays if nikkas can turbo and pass the ball down the court and score? nikkas be playing off ball too like huh? Scoring isn't the problem for me vs those off ball bums,but come on these dudes just pass and turbo and hope they score. I'm only playing pro am and private head to head games.

It’s truly awful. It’s either people just iso and turbo to the hoop praying it goes in (which 80% of the time it does) or hoping the over aggressive AI fouls. And then at the higher levels the 5 put cheese offense is in full effect. Step back cheese 3 is back also

Defense is more difficult to play but I dont have a problem with that. It's when I do play good defense and play the angles perfectly then body them with my chest but they just continue to hold turbo to get get around me. Im like what else you want me to do shyt. Every big is Shaq in the post to were they can back you down right undereneath the rim only a few guys have that kinda of strength in NBA history for every to be able to do that is mind boggling.

There's too many fukking and ones in this game, just like last year.
The defense is a joke. You just literally run thru your man and you either get the layup/dunk or you get an and one foul
The shooting is better than 17, but it's still broken
The grind is ridiculous. I feel offended that they made VC such a huge factor on the things you can do om the damn game. And you're not making a lot of it to begin with so you're forced to buy it. It's bullshyt.

2k has been a day one cop for me faithfully since 2k12. There's just so much disrespect one can take. I'm 80% sure I will be skipping 2k19, this is unacceptable.

Y'all forgot to mention that your CPU teammates do everything i their powers to commit a foul on every defensive possession. You have teammates that will leave their man just to come over to the ball handler and commit a reaching foul.

BTW, none of the stuff quoted was fixed in the new patch.

Yesterday, I had an amazing game that ended in some grade A bullshyt.

Knicks vs. Lakers Online Head 2 Head.

I was getting abused by Lonzo Ball, by the end of the game, he had about 48 points - all because even though I'm a VERY good on ball defender, I couldn't seem to adjust my defense to collapse on him with help defense when he started his drive.

BREHS, no matter what I did Lonzo Ball would drive and layup, dunk, draw foul.

I didn't get too mad because I was still in the game and most mistakes were mine...outside of me not having the defensive settings work.

Anyway, the game is tied, there are 14 seconds left and I pass to Hernangomez LITERALLY RIGHT UNDER THE BASKET. He somehow loses the fukking ball.

Lakers call timeout and they score.
