if there’s a lacking amount of sisterhood/female friendships in your circle, it must be something you’re doing.

The more I grow, the lesser the chances of finding that, and it scares me. Will I find that good sis to confide in and share experiences and intelligence with? Will my future kids (If I ever have kids) have a play auntie and play cousins to play with? If I ever married, will I even have the opportunity to have a wedding party?

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but you come off as WAY too sad and to maintain the meaningful connections you desire. You're going to have to get management of that first or else you'll end up clinging to someone with no reciprocity given or the emotional strength to leave a dysfunctional association alone. Not saying at all you have to have it ALL together, but you have to get in a better place to receive everything you want, or else it will be temporary. I have better/more friends in my old age than I did being young. Never had a "best" friend, but I truly have good friends and I've learned to relate to them without coming off a complete suicidal psycho...it's a balance.

It’s ALOT to be friends with someone with low self esteem and poor mental health and if you combine that with them not having a grip on it, it can be overall taxing.

I don’t feel you’re a bad person, but I can see how your perspective of your life can be too much for someone to deal with. You’re still working on yourself, we all are.

I try to keep a handle on it when talking to people, but I don’t know. I guess it’s my aura or my face that repels people. I can be as genuine and friendly, and still people don’t care or reciprocate actions of a friend with me.

It just makes me feel lower. Like damn, am I that horrible to be around?

Without knowing the whole story, I would say that is how you're perceiving the situation and it's not truly like that. I know my perception and overall thought of myself is negative, so I try to keep that in check, when I can. It could be that people have shytty interpretations of being a friend. If you value these friends, have a convo with them and be honest how you're perceiving it and get their feedback.

I feel like the 3 year learning to zip their jacket by themselves. Struggling to get everything aligned, so all I need to do is pull up, but I don’t want any help. Life is the mom rushing me to hurry, suggesting help, but I want to do it on my own. I wish I knew if any of my efforts were worth it. Certainly feels like a series of bad moves. It’s getting more difficult by the day to keep it all up.
