Not true.
Math was a murder killer before injury.
Math is ramping back from injury.
If carlisle would cut out the avatar lineups.

To start math and obi over nesmith and nembhard.
This could be over if they hold serve.

Nembhard all season continues to re-earn this stArting job. Yet math is better.
That hopefully next game obi and math get the start.
Yet i understand all season.
why nembhard always gets the start.
As nembhard does have a good variable of intangibles. That i know what carlisle is doing. Yet math should start. As math has more scoring punch and drive than nembhard.

The man was drafted #6 and they’re acting like he’s a scrub with a flukey game. Plus he started a lot in the regular season so it might happen.

Their window is almost over you forget they gotta pay Chet and Jalen Williams soon and SGA just got eligible for the supermax . Also the spurs are on the way rockets are on the way Dallas is on the way like you got the window RIGHT NOW. Make the move to win or don't win at all
it took boston a while to finally win it this OKC team is really young wouldnt be surprised to see them win it next year but this year its IND :mjlit:

The Truth
This is far from an upset. Only ones who thought that are western conference meat riders. These are 2 very evenly matched teams. Pacers just better.
I was talking to a homie at work and I said that Indiana matches up VERY well with OKC.

The key imo is going to be Haliburton being aggressive. And I mean aggressive scoring. Like how he started tonight is how he should start everynight. Haliburton needs to be taking enough shots to average over 20 and I mean getting to the rim/line.

When he does that, the entire floor is going to open up like a flower in bloom.

Must be 2 different Pacers teams, the one I've been watching doesn't look and play bad on a regular basis

Carlisle avatar bassd starting lineup.
Is why the pacers run hot to cold.

If carlisle would make a lineup. That did not usurp haliban at point. To start obi and math over nembhard and nesmith.

The pacers would have more consistent play.

I get why carlisle does this lineup in this manner. As nesmith and nembhard need the starting lineup call confidence boost.
to be effective. Yet that Ruins haliban as a leader. As it shrinks the lineup.
as well as puts to many pg like players.
on court at the same time in nembhard and nesmith. Who are too small at the two and three. Plus downsize indy's defensive effectiveness and length on paper to the floor.

The pacers would be more effective. Night to night if math and obi start. As it does not send mixed signals to the team on who the leader is. By running nembhard and nesmith aa starters. It nerfs haliban and usurps his leadership on the floor.

Haliban is just a good player. Who already endured having his leadership usurped in sac-town. So haliban will play throughed't the confusion. Yet it hurts haliban as a distributor and also a scorer. As the ball is taken out of his hands. With nesmith and nembhard on court.
All of haliban inconsistent play comes from that.

Carlisle coaches this team like a nba version of seirra canyon. Yet just like seirra canyon. The players never make themselves into the position of power. As the talent on roster undermines the heirarchy and social dynamic of play on court from back court to front court.
That if challenged. That can be exploited under duress.
by an equally staffed team. That has better positional roster management.
Indy stole home court advantage and only has to hold serve. Yet carlisle has made more work for himself. Basically making indy into what if seirra canyon dynamics occurred in the nba. When the nba success atypically has to have clear cut defined roster management.. especially as far as leadership at point.

I almost want Indiana to win off of the strength of Stephen A assigning an inordinate amount of blame on Haliburton when they lose but being really meek when they win. :patrice:
fukk Stephen A. I get so tired of his basic repetitive talking points that really have no substance:
"OKC are like pirahnaas on defense, trust me seeing them in person, they are everywhere"
"They will snatch your heart right out of your chest"
"I'm looking at Halliburton, like what you go do"

" I get all that, they shooting something like 47. 6% from field but this is basketball and sometimes it's like 1 on 1 in the park"

fukk dude, when he and others have to actually watch the sport and talk about basketball, and not have big names and hot takes they are extremely shytty..

OKC is more talented but the pacers are like a pressure fighter who don't let up for a single minute. That shyt is mentally exhausting. It's basically will over skill right now. OKC just getting worn down. But either way I expect this shyt to go 7.

Are we sure they're more talented?

At this point and time Indy has more guys I trust to create for themselves and others than OKC.

Haliburton, Siakam, Nembhard, Nesmith, TJ McConnell, Mathurin can all score and create

OKC it's truly just SGA, J Will and Caruso......everyone else are just shooters.
