Old heads, was '98 DMX as big as '05 Jeezy, '15 Future, or '03 50 Cent?

Folks in this thread are really like X had 2 multi platinum #1 albums in a year...like last year wasn't the third time Future did this...in year 12 of his mainstream career. The disrespect these dudes in this topic putting on Pluto's name for these dudes that had like a 4 year runs:wow:
Future ain’t selling records. We don’t count this streaming shyt as selling records. One album back then costs more than a month of unlimited streaming.

Trap Muzik was platinum in 04. Urban Legend dropped in November of 2004 and went platinum a few months later. You the homie for sure but you lying to live. And yes Jeezy was hot I never said he wasnt. But "on the level the same as T.I." is not true lol.
“Pat’na Be Easy, quit catching feelins, cause u worth a couple hunnid grand and I’m worth millions..” there’s a reason Luda said that. Jeezy took over the hood when he dropped his debut. Tip was bigger than Jeezy by 06-07 tho.

Numbers are numbers, Future done had X's best year 3x's in his 12 year career. In 2015 he dropped 2 multi platinum #1's and gave us two classic mixtapes and had Monster leading up into the start of 2015. The disrespect being put on Future's run in this thread is wild. 2 classic mixtapes, a classic album and a big time collaboration album to end the year.:wow:

Numbers ain’t numbers. U can’t compare streaming to sales. If that was the case u would think Drake is as big as MJ. Or even Kendrick cause of his Halftime show. And it’s NOT EVEN CLOSE. MJ was so much more famous than them nikkas it’s not even worth discussing. We ain’t gonna speak on album sales in the streaming era vs nikkas who was really getting it. Compare them streaming nikkas to eachother. Not to the ones who came before them. It’s not even fair.

What that got to do with anything? That line Luda quoted was said in a song in 03 when Tip was regional, so you not proving much at all. You lying through your teeth saying Jeezy was more prominent than Tip 04, or period really.

In 98, the sales numbers were so inflated, Master P had every mf he grew up with going platinum. Y'all might as well never bring up numbers period in this topic. C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker went platinum in '98 but Future's numbers fugazi and wouldn't hold up. Foh, they'd be higher if anything.:camby:

That wasn’t in 03 when that line was spit. It was 04. On Young Bucks album. TI found his mainstream success with Urban Legend. Which dropped later that year. I’m not saying TI wasn’t huge. I’m saying Jeezy’s debut was more like a bomb. TI became bigger than Jeezy short thereafter but Jeezy was ATLEAST just as big as TI during his debut.

nikka Master P was actually scamming bar codes. That’s the example u wanna make? And yes Silkk the Shocker was actually a VERY popular artist at one point. No mater how garbage u think he is. MC Hammer was bigger than all of them regardless of how garbage u think he is. nikka Future wasn’t big enough to do the shyt X was doing by 99. By the end of 99 X was doing major films. wtf u talkin bout fam? U obviously wasn’t there. lol. Anyone who was alive and old enough during the time can tell u the difference. Streaming ain’t a sale. No matter how mad u get. Lol

No Im saying the line Luda quoted was spit in 03. It was 03 when Tip said that, Tip found way more success and earned more revenue when that line was spit lol

Anybody who's old enough to be outside for X's run is too old to be outside for Future's run. Foh. Where you from? New York? No fukking shyt X's impact was inflated out there:camby:

nikkas conflating the quality of the run with the magnitude of the run.
