The New York Knicks were en route to their fifth straight loss last week against Brooklyn when a frustrated Tim Hardaway Jr.screamed angrily, "Get the rebound!''

Certain his second-year teammate was speaking to him, Carmelo Anthony approached Hardaway on the way down the court and used an expletive to ask Hardaway who in the world he thought he was talking to.

Anthony, according to sources, then used another expletive in telling Hardaway he was going to beat him up when they got into the locker room after the game.

While the two players never wound up fighting, the episode was emblematic of the volatile state of the Knicks. Off to their worst start in franchise history at 4-19, the Knicks are a team full of discord, defiance and doubt, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

"Nobody's taken a swing at anybody, but there's a lot of arguing and cursing each other out after games,'' one source said.

Melo you serious breh? How are you the leader of the team and gonna threaten to beat someone up? :dahell:

And Hardaway screaming at dudes to grab rebounds? Play some defense motherfukker. :dahell:

Knick fans are crazy. IMO Knicks couldn't have a better scenario than the one their in now.

We have our franchise player locked up to a long-term deal with a team bad enough to net us a high draft pick to secure ourselves a good young player to complement him in the draft. 2/3rd of the roster is gone next year as well so we'll have a shyt-ton of cap-space to fukk around with in the off-season. Even, if the Knicks don't cash out on any game-changing player like Gasol and Aldridge, don't fukk up the cap, just sign some good role players to put around Melo and the draft pick, show some progress and make the playoffs and wait until next year when there's another great free agency class AND the cap is probably gonna rise as well. :mindblown:

But no, Knick fans want Phil to do some stupid trade to fukk up our cap, just so we can be a mediocre 30-something win team, get stomped out as an 8th seed in the playoffs and get a crappy ass draft pick. :beli:

We could be the fukking Nets who have NO picks, and no cap space. shyt, that was us last year. :heh: Ya'll remember that season right? That shyt wasn't fun at all right? :sadcam:

Knick fans are out here turning on Phil fukking Jackson of all people. :snoop: Ya'll didn't really expect him to turn around a losing culture spanning over a decade in a little less than a year.

Knick fans need to sit back, shut up and just embrace the tank. :ahh:

We've been losing for a decade, what the fukk is one more season? :comeon:

You can tell its fans who don't follow nba history just the Knicks..they're on some just get in the playoffs and anything can happen bs which is the exact opposite of how the NBA works

Fans like that are dolans wet dream though.. The dopes who just want to make the playoffs at any costs

Melo is banged up because he won't take nights off. He has heart. Melo at SF with 2 legit bigs would be :wow:

Anthony said his troublesome knee isn't any worse, but didn't rule out sitting out Wednesday night in San Antonio or taking some time off to try and get it feeling better.

"I think at this point, it's just a matter of sitting down with the training staff and the coaches and seeing what's best for everybody," Anthony said following the Knicks' 104-93 loss to the Pelicans.

"If it's best for me to sit out and take some time off and get it right, then that's the decision I have to make.

"[But] they're going to have to pull me out because I'm not going to make that decision on my own."

The Knicks are off to a franchise-worst 4-19 start. Anthony was asked if it made sense to take some time off now to come back stronger.

"The flip side to that is we are losing games," he said. "I never was a player to sit out when things are going bad or when things are going good. I hate to sit on the sideline and watch my teammates go out and battle."

He might as well sit, if his teammates are feeling funky like that bs Broussard report is saying, then let them go win a few games without him then.

I've always come to bat to defend Melo, because a lot of it was mostly agenda/hate filled stuff thrown at him

But the whole Melo era has been a BIG disappointment
And when your the leader of a Team, and if what I read what happened between him and Timmy is true
then I'm officially hopping off the Melo bandwagon

No matter how bleak a situation looks, !00% effort should be giving every game, and watching him this season that's been far from the case, then you add his lack of leadership he's showing as the team leader I'm super disappointed. this the One season where his leadership was needed more then ever with a rookie coach on deck.

No big time free-agent outside of Greg Monroe who's team situation might even be worst then the Knicks is going to be clamoring to sign with the Knicks unless some type of turnaround is on deck

With Melo on the team, the goal is to start competing for ships NEXT season, It's no rookie that's going to push the Knicks to that level

IF we're going to tank, we might as well start from scratch and blow the whole thing up
ANY rookie drafted is going to take 2-3 seasons to have a impact

The I in Team
Wow this is so funny. I haven't been in the thread all day and I was going to post a snippet of rodmans interview where he said:

“It’s not that difficult. It’s a triangle. Everybody has an opportunity to touch the ball and shoot it. It seems like it goes back to Carmelo Anthony and then everything stops. What are you going to do?”

I'm stating the obvious but I now really question whether the triangle will ever work for melo. All of us know that a good component of Melos game is him sizing up his opponent, a few jab steps and a move. That's not fluid and not what the triangle is. 10 years in his career that's just who he is. When we built around that with vets we were most successful. I think at this point you have to build around melo, instead of forcing him to fit in. He has a no trade clause so.. :manny:

The other thing I find funny is how early in the season THJr said all that shyt about how this year there's no beefing in the locker room and everything is gravy with a new coach and system. What happened Tim??? All that positive shyt and now it comes to light that you the nikka beefing. fukking incredible.

He can always waive it and a ask for a trade.
