the only reason that manafort and flynn have not suffered the same fate is because they are caught up in a dance between their foreign handlers and the US.
flynn has already plead guilty to the most minimal of charges and are now fully cooperating with the government.
flynn got hit with lying to the FBI but was never hit with the crimes he had lied about.

I wouldn't press any charges outside of conspiracy with Russia to the 2016 election. If I found something especially egregious, I'd farm it out to the relevant entity.

.... i'm growing more cynical....It will be pretty damning, but since there will be no video of Trump explicitly colluding with Putin, people will forget about it after one news cycle.
