lol, i kinda feel what you,re saying but i don't think it's because they're dumb or don't have interesting perspectives. The thing about talking with most girls is that even when they're knowledgeable, debating with them takes the convo to a weird place cause their debating style can seem weird to us guys sometimes.
Im 24 and live in San Diego, there are no damn ratchets. Tell me this, did you try to get female attention before puberty? Did you find them interesting? Context: I'm a single guy in my late 20's in the North East United States. I met a girl in September of 2011 and we eventually dated for a couple months from November to December of that year. We had sex a total of three times, once without a condom (although I did pull out).
We got into a fight about something stupid and inconsequential in late December and ended up deciding to not see each other anymore. I don't hear from her until early February when she sends me a Facebook message saying that she's pregnant and she's keeping it.

I hear you its just so many dudes want this but they honestly don't deserve it like some of my friends. They say they want this at home but then these cats wanna be cheating asses and the like. You don't deserve that "good" girl you deserve what you end up with. If you didn't know I wasn't co signing her grinding on ole boy just was saying sometimes we as dudes sound just as unrealistic as them. I'm going to be honest my hobbies wont let me meet many of these "good" girls that are that busy they might not be at the usual places. I guess it can always happen at a library, supermarket, etc but as long as they are cool I don't care where its at. I agree with bold esp about both sexes mainly not talking about much but in reality what really is there that isn't basic depending on what your circle is? If you and your circle into sports, politics, boardgames, etc thats what your going to talk about and I don't think one thing is so much more shytty than the next thing. I think we can all agree at the end of the day its all about living and once thats taken care of you relax and different cats do it in different ways. Sometimes I have to catch myself cause I'll say people talking/doing dumb shyt but they just unwinding and as long as its not harmful/illegal whats the big deal cause its not what I'm into? Yeah, that is pretty foul. That's why I'm learning it's better to never be 'caught', aka you getting the image of Mr. Dependable in her mind. Once a female thinks she 'has you', it's a wrap.
It really only pays to deal with women that really like you. Everything when dealing with a woman is centered around how much they like you. If a woman comes off of that 'lets do the dinner' nonsense, she only thinks 'you're cute' aka you'll suffice until what I really wants comes around. When a woman really digs you, she makes it real easy to get her attention and time. She almost throws herself at you in subtle ways.
Honestly man, it's so many dumb games out here, it's hard to deal with. That's why I stay invested in God, friends, family, principles and morals and flyness WAY more than I do any particular female, because I know if I stay up as a man, if one busts left, another one will come right along. It's real cool when you get to the point of mentally not caring too much if one woman gets with the program because you know you have others who want that opportunity.
The only thing that should allow a woman to 'catch you' is ultimately her treatment of you. If she can't give you the level of respect you deserve and doesn't act feminine enough, it's a no-go.

Some chicks will indeed message you first, some wont at all but if you message them they will gladly engage in conversation with you.
It's a mixed bag because you gotta figure not every chick will see ur profile to begin with. So sometimes you just have to make urself visible.
