So I called her up and said something to the effect off:

"Hey Thando, lemme address something. We make plans but then stuff always comes up, If we're gonna make plans and you flake then there's no point. I don't want any parts in that nor do I care for that. I think you're dope and I definitely like hanging with you but I'm not with the flakey shyt. So yea."

She was then like "ok, ok, I know, I suck (which is a cop-out) well I'm gonna go back to watching my show since you yelled at me and my feeling are hurt" (I never even raised my voice btw).

Told her "nah, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, I'm just telling it as it is. I really don't have time for the BS".

She was now like oh, you don't have to continue yelling at me.

Said she had to go and we ended it at that.

I always feel better when I address things from the jump and I should have done so way at the beginning. Some of the advice I got in here was with good intentions but a little off point. Me and shawty have already gotten kinda intimate so it's not necessarily bush status, but it's more of setting boundary status. If she and I were just very early into things, then yea, I can forgo that.

At least now, if she comes backs, she knows what the boundaries are.

I do think to a degree, we as men have kind of started taking some dating tactics from women, which to me shouldn't be the case. Ghosting, being flakey, being non-responsive etc shouldn't be our first crutches as men. We have to hold ourselves to a higher standard.
