Depending how close you were it can take a while, firstly if you really liked her just know some breh is going to be hitting it very soon, and there is nothing you can do about it. It's angering, frustrating and sickening at first. But once that feeling leaves. And you have maybe hooked up with someone new, it's usually plain sailing from there.

You'll still think about her but after a while the strong feelings will fade
