First off... FUKK TINDER.


It's totally ruined the landscape and dating for guys like me who only do cold approaches.



Good thing i got my good years in before dating apps and social media completely killed courtship and regular guys tryna get it in.




But yeah. Damn your boy striking out cold out here. While i'd love to attribute it solely to the aforementioned/technology... i just gotta go harder.



Always remininsce about the good ole days when i would go out, get a few numbers and strike with at least 1 or 2 quality women a month. Or hook up with customers from work. Shiit ain't what it used to be. But i'm appreciate for the experiences.



What i do chalk up to my failures as of late are a couple things.



1. My mullett that i refuse to cut off.


2. Karma (for all the infidelity towards the one woman who truly loved me... i honestly feel like the cosmos are instantly punishing me by either sending me crazy/deranged/non-dateable women or, like now... none at all).

Really don't know what to do but hope that 2020 treats me better and finally gives me peace and true love.



At 37... i'm done being a playboy (i know i know, it's not like i have a choice now given how rough it's been for your boy, but since 30... i've been serial dating/hooking up and perhaps, this is mama's way of making me ultimately appreciate someone when they finally do come into my world).

Its not the tech, its your area and lack of knowing where to go. In NYC, there's a club for everything, so pickings are easy. Adventure a bit more, if you even want to.

I still rock a ponytail (I'm Hawaiian), no one says anything to me, could be the height or just because I don't give a shyt. I also have nice long hair, so again, I don't let preconceived looks bother me....it all means nothing when she's throating you.

The most important thing to take away from my reply...is lie. If you're going to some dive bar, looking for trash bags, then lie away, be the CEO of a maple syrup conglomerate, or a Photographer looking for new talent. You're not in the game to find love, you're in it to put up numbers.

Think of something you've always wanted to do but didn't believe you could do it. Learn an instrument or a language. Sheeit, hit the gym

I taught myself how to play bass guitar in my spare time and I also taught myself Spanish. Sometimes if I'm bored and free, I'll hit up the gym for 1-2 hours. Full workout then cardio.

As cliche as it is, Look into starting a business. Even if it’s just online ecommerce like Amazon, Etsy, Ebay, Shopify, etc. Try a few small things first to see what you like/what works and scale from there.

Every time I get on these dating apps and see a woman in her early 30s who’s attractive I think “ she seems cool”. And majority of the time after a few interactions you see exactly why they been single still. You would think some of these women would get introspective and make changes but they still trying to play in the nba with no jumpshot and bad body conditioning. lol
