I've been there. Monumental waste of time.

I forgot to use this technique. I'm learning Spanish and I've been struggling lol. I need to be watching Narcos and other movies/shows without the subtitles. I pick up the cuss words and the nasty talk (for the females ) and certain phrases here and there, but I need to use that subconscious learning technique. I would have been eating good even more in Panama and Colombia if I took it more seriously.


I envy that brotha on youtube who speaks like 50 languages and switches between them like it's nothing. I don't know how he does it.

You talking bout that Laoshuuu dude right? He not fluent in any of those languages. He just knows basic phrases like "I'm self taught", "Im from such and such" "How long have you been here?", Yada yada yada. It's a cool trick to feign fluency. Dude ain't really saying nothing tho.

I went to my coworkers birthday party a few weeks back and there was a married couple there.

I greeted them but we didn't really talk much. When I left my coworker kept telling me about how the dude kept talking about how Buff I was and that it made him insecure

Now my coworker told me that they are getting a divorce and he keeps telling me I should try to smash his friends wife.

I guess he cheated and she's looking to get back at him.

This all sounds fishy/messy as hell to me

At the least I know he speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese fluently.

Some of the other languages are hit and miss but even he will admit that, but overall you have to admire dude's ability to at least learn the basics and switch between languages to people he meets.
