This girl I was supposed to be meeting off POF tonight cancelled on me at the last minute. And I planned part of my day around going out w/ her. SMH

But just an hour before when I texted her, everything was cool. But I called her when I was drivign home to change, and she didnt answer, then she texted me back few mins later talkin bout, "I just got in from a long day, I'm exhausted....can I have a rain check on tonight?"

I was like ...... I let myself cool down a bit and texted her back, " I don't do rainchecks. But good luck to you!"

Did I play it right? This girl is bad. She used to be a cheerleader for the Dallas arena league team. But at the same time, I didnt wanna say something lame like , "ok, yeah let me know when ur avaliable" and I didnt wanna not say anything at all b/c it would look like I was hurt.

I agree with Reincar. But I wouldn't get rid of her right away. She'd be delegated to the "friend zone"

Why would a man delegate a woman to the friend zone?

Simple. She's already proven that she's not dependable and iffy, and I can't have a woman like that on my roster who will probably and constantly disappoint me.

But... she can have other uses. I always keep a couple of chicks as acquaintances, because they can lead me to the promise land. You have no idea how many chicks I've done smashed because they were a friend of a female friend, and my female friend gave me the seal of approval. The guards are down and they're ready to mingle once they know that their friend is cool with you and thinks highly of you.

That's why I wouldn't necessarily cut her off. I'd still go hang out with her as friends and build a relationship with her that would be beneficial to me. However, some women sense when they're being pushed into the friendzone and will try their hardest to get out of it. They will wear sexier stuff, have provocative conversations, invite you to intimate settings and some will just come out and say they want you.

But imagine you were in a hallway where there is one main door that is open, and behind that door is 5 doors that are closed, but unlocked. Now if you close that main door, it slam locks and you no longer have access to the other 5 doors. Why would you close the main door then? And that's the reason you don't fukk with her. She's the main door, if you deal with her, then you cut yourself off from the opportunities behind the other five doors.

And then, some of these chicks can be knuckleheads. If there's a lot of red flags with the girl (discussed throughout this thread), just cut her loose. No friendship, no association,

Dealing with shy women just requires you to be more patient and not to rush them. It will take a while to break them out of their social shell, but once they are comfortable around you, they will be much, much more talkative. Just dealing with them without pushing them into anything is the best bet.

As I'm an introvert and obviously spend alot of my time observing and noticing demeanors of certain people, I am very good at "reading" people.

But what advice would you give other people to help determine whether a girl is truly shy and not one of those "reformed hoes" who are just playing games and "testing" you.

its very important for men to know, that just as its up to us to take the initiative to start with a woman, we need to also be able to take the intiative to end it. we go off of their hints, and body language to get to talking to them, and we have to do the same to end it.

and its for this reason alone, a lot of girls DO NOT have the guts to outright end a relationship the normal way. you see it. they want to toy with a man, cheat on him, fight with him, but rarely ever out and out end it. instead they want to push the limits of what he can take to see if he will snap and do something stupid, so shes not at fault.

we see it, one woman recently told a man that what he thought was his baby, wasnt. then he snapped. so why even keep up this lie for so long that she was decieving him from his time, money, and even feelings he put into this baby? she could have ended it instead of doing the stupid shyt to him until he wouldnt tolerate anymore. she couldnt end it when she was cheating on him to have someone else baby, and she couldnt end it by telling him anytime during the pregancy? no, she just wanted something out of him, whether its money, attention, or drama, they just manuever around shyt and find a way to try and look innocent. didnt have the guts to be straight up with him and she wanted HIM to end it.

you might even find out shes just as much a go getter with others as she was to holla at you. you dont want no sick shyt to happen and you get gonnorhea or std in your life, bruh. there too much that can go wrong with a cheater and having that in your mix.

is this the same female that was mad you wanted to spend time building up your motherfukkin business and website? the difference between an uncooperative chick and cooperative one is like night and day. I recommend you get her some act right or let that noise go. its never worth the hassle, go get your money first.

As an introvert people probaly consider u shy,but u may not consider yourself that.....women can be shy for different reasons,I've talked to women and they act shy around me and friendly with other people....sum of those times come to find out they liked me and they'd tell me they acted shy bcuz they wuz nervous or w/e,and there shyness or standoffish demeanor made me not as friendly as normal cuz I figured either they didn't want to be talked to or could be easily offended by my directness if they stuck up,so our interactions never went nowhere bcuz their standoffish behavior made me standoffish.

And sumtimes it really ain't a game,chicks assume u gon hit on em if they do act friendly with you which they probaly right....so they just avoid conversation with you alltogether to avoid akwardness.

And. Maybe a chick considers herself a introvert,or just don't feel like she fit in so she quiet....but can talk to sumbody who's similar to her or has same interest....sum people can bring her out of her shell and it may or may not be u....come at a nerdy chick like a street nikka and she may not feel like she can relate or know how to talk to u and vice versa....corny nikka come to a ratchett she just may not know how to talk to him so she even appears as shy to him knowin damn well she turned up as fuk wit everybody else

Its plenty other reasons to,I don't think whether or not they a ho has any effect on how shy they appear......only way to find out is to talk to her,she may be shy but y'all just click for w/e reason and she's not shy with you....so at that point whether she really shy or not doesn't matter if she ain't shy with u,even tho she may be shy with just about everybody else....y'all just click


Best advice I have is don't let her standoffish behavior make u standoffish too bcuz ull never find out,continue to be as friendly as you always are,direct as u always are and either shell open up to u,report u to hr or complain about ur thirstiness to her friends,or you'll realize eventually y'all just don't click and she's not for u,after a while if u still have to pull teeth to have a good convo either y'all don't click or one or both of yalls personalitys is wack.
