My ex tried to do that with me. Talking about we can still be friends and we spoke for a while after, until I realised I was never going to get over her until I fully cut contact.

Me...I got a good government job, my own spot, car. doing decent as someone with just a hs diploma.

so I was ready to really lock things down and wife basically. She wasn’t going, along with me being an a$$hole and I moved outta Chi for a almost a year, really killed the relationship.

I moved back and tried to make amends but she was so damaged from the bs I put her through while I was gone. her sister tried to get us back together in august but I wasn’t trying to at the time

I wouldn't normally advise on being 21 and committed in a relationship cause you still have a lot of personal growing to do and life to figure out. One thing I'll tell you though is you aren't missing anything by being out here running the streets/fukkin' hoes nshyt. Real shyt.

So if that's somebody you see yourself with, let her know how you feel, continue working on yourself and if she's with it then cool but if not, the way you feel right now probably wont be the same feeling you have at 23 if ya'll aren't together. So try not to let the "moment" bring you down.
