That's the best way to catch them out.
I do it all the time.
If you get her, don't cut her off or break up with her. Let her leave you when she gets bored for the next dude. And don't trip when it happens. Drama only starts when the dude tells his boys at work or he cuts her off.
If you end up getting rejected, don't trip. Treat her like anyone else at work and give her the same amount of space as you would your other coworkers. Don't get salty and ignore her, and don't try again.

Women only view men as alphas and betas. If you trying to smash, and she puts up the condition of a relationship, or flat rejects you, she simply views you as a beta.
If she sits up and talks to you about how guys used to do her wrong, or how guys are always trying to sleep with her, instead of just enjoying your company, she views you as a beta, and you need to keep it moving.
Edit: women do try to lock down alphas. What I'm talking about is strictly referring to the FIRST TIME. She views you as a beta if you don't get to hit it AT ALL unless there is a relationship.

Arguing with most women is fruitless. Especially when they're incorrect.
I'm arguing with facts/actual events, and every few secs she's interupting with "Omg, what's your point, I don't want to hear this step by step"
Me: "No, you accused me of (this), and I'm going thru these facts to show you why you're incorrect"
Her: "Omg, I don't want to do this!!"
