Yeah 15 mins before is some flagrantly disrespectful shyt.

You hit me up a few hrs before to rearrange, ok. I know early and can do something else.
But she had all day to let you know and she thinks so little of you that she pulls this.

A woman will usually spend most of the day readying herself for the date. For her to say fuxk it with 15 mins to go meant she either was never coming or someone gave her a better invite. Either of those options is not a good place to be.

The fact she thought so little of your time would push her to bushes status for me.

Nah, cancelling a date 15 minutes before is disrespectful and a HUGE red flag. You take the time out to get dressed and prepare, for what? The fukk was there for her to do on a Sunday during a pandemic why she had to cancel at the last minute?

I used to be the same way at one point - giving the benefit of the doubt, not wanting to look sensitive and being the "oh ok I understand" nice guy type doing all types of mental gymnastics trying to justify it on their behalf etc despite what my gut was telling me.....and each and every time it didn't work out. Ain't no reset button for this.

It's not about being 'HOH' or "insecure", it's about self respect and boundaries. You try pulling that shyt right before a job interview and tell them you ain't coming 15 minutes before but you can do Wednesday instead and 9 times out of 10 they'll tell you to kick rocks.

Give people an inch and they'll take a yard. And no, it's not some tactic to make them beg to give them another chance. It's things like this that set a negative precedent and shows you their character and you better pay attention to it and not sweep it under the rug.

If she was really interested, nothing would have got in the way, especially not no damn 15 minutes before.

And yes, you have to be zero tolerance.

I was a zero tolerant dude before. Then I realized in dating that the zero tolerance chicks always were hella insecure, and it made me reevaluate how I move.

She rescheduled for Wednesday so I'm keeping my mind clear and assuming the best. For a second, I felt frustrated but aint no point in assuming the worst and reacting poorly when a flake happens. I've projected my own insecurities into similar situations before and ended up looking like a lame.

If it happens again, I probably will delete the #, but she gets a pass for now (even tho it's sus to do it last minute)
