I don’t know if it was said here or somewhere else. But low key a lot of men have very low self-esteem and they put value in getting women to have a better self esteem instead of just placing value in themselves

I learned this when I was 19. Had a girl dump me so I sat in it for a few weeks. Over time I got over it but she began calling me. I didn't answer her phone calls AT ALL. I worked with her sister at Walmart who would ask me to reach out to her and that the sister missed me. I told sis "she broke up with me. Not calling her." Long story less long, we rap about a month later. Ol girl asked me to meet her at her apartment. She was crying asking what happened. She wanted to get back together. Told her I couldn't do it.

Lesson here is to value yourself. You don't need to allow people to treat you any kind of way. Sometimes it might mean terminating the relationship which may hurt you for a while. You'll get over it.
