Tbh I'm still thinking over it. I was in a 12 yr relationship 7 of those married and the idea of getting hitched and things going south again. Fills me with dread. It took years to come to my current mindset of feeling like a new healthier me.

I said on here before my divorce was relatively clean, but me and her still had our issues. And it really turned parts of my life over.

I do want a real partner at some point but I've learnt a lot about women the last few yrs and so I try to go into a situation open minded, but also knowing shyt can switch up at any time.

Haven’t been married but been engaged and I know what you meant. Women can change up just like that. You can do everything right and guaranteed nothing.


I still think how my ex went from crying and accepting the proposal to being stern and cold and changing her mind .

Yep, these days I can see the signs before any of that happens so I've prepped myself. Although we shouldn't really be having to do all that.

Yup and because of that I can never get too comfortable. It's like being a foster kid in and out of foster homes you can never get to comfortable regardless of what the foster family says as you have been let down too many times to think this is it.

Like I see with some of my more scatty female friends they get with a guy. And tell me his great etc, a few weeks later, how's you and the guy going?

Oh I told him I was no longer feeling it. So ended things. I'd be like damn you was all over homie. You switched up that quickly?

Then you learn that even if they're seeing a guy, semi 'exclusively' other guys are still on their radar. So you get with these chicks and they still scooping out potential suitors.
