thats smart, the worse thing you can do is keep contact, that sliver of hope, im the type after a big breakup, to throw away pictures, toss away any gifts kgiven to me, hell even change my number, email addresses.

I wonder what people who are plugged into social networking and reliant on it do when shyt hits the fan I couldn't do it and be exposed to Facebook/instagram pics and status changes all the time and risk being exposed to some shyt you don't wanna see. I only use gchat to keep in touch and I'm always invisible, people who I wanna hear from can reach me and vice versa

I have a FB and IG but I'm not really on it like that. Last girl I was dating we didn't even become friends on either network. When I get involved with a girl, I don't even bring them in my social network unless things get really serious. But even then, I don't put my business out there like that.

I don't have fb but the last girl I was talking to thought I was a player or hiding from something because I didn't have one.

Especially with the whole NSA thing and how open the world is now I'm happy to not have any.

it was one occasion when her moms boyfriend left her stranded in Michigan. my girl lives in Cleveland so she was stressed about it so she wasn't trying to talk. I understood but obviously concerned so I just told er to check in and let me know how everything goes. I didn't hear from er at all until a couple days later...the other couple times was just her being stressed and not wanting to talk to me. it wasn't all the time....overall it was 4 times outta tha year she did that but it wasn't the main reason I ended it....I hate that phony honey moon period shyt. im real from the jump with who I am so that they can decide if they fukk with it or not. she was up and down and very moody. our visits got gradually worse on the passion side and im not with that

I know what you mean. You would think that if they really loved you like they said, they would want to at least make a little time to talk every day, but more often than not, you just turn into back-up man. She just pops in and out whenever she feels... She might stop in for a while, then disappear for two days for no reason and not warn you, and then pop back in like nothing happened and act like it's all gravy... you ask her where she been at and she's 'been busy.' You did the right thing getting out of a relationship where your time isn't valued and you aren't considered. We are in an era of unprecedented communication. No one is ever THAT busy as if they can't grab their phone and send a text message. They can do that anywhere in under a minute. They just don't want to.

huh? just delete them as friends, or, if you don't want to do that because it makes you look hurt, you can just change the settings of your newsfeed so that you won't see the stuff they post anymore

I actually went to do that recently but they force you to unfriend them instead and I don't wanna do that. we didn't have a "bad" breakup. if you can still do it let me know though..
