moved to a new city to start grad school feels
came here with a purpose to do what I need to do and get right and better as a man and professional
so all orientation last week was chill talking to people chopping it up and having a good time without going overboard with the drinking. It seems like once I got on my own away from home (since i went back after college), all the gems i've picked up in this thread have come out in practice naturally since ive been here. i've sweated no one, everyone approaching me seeing what i'm about. even though im on par with the average age in my class, there are students younger so it is kind of a variable environment in backgrounds which is nice
couple people asking me how you stay so laidback and chill when we about to go through this ringer, but honestly i'm thankful to get a chance to be here and learn that i've completely mellowed out and it's been
each day. even when we go out couple people out here acting thirsty, but you don't wanna mess around with classmates unless you know it's the right move.
speaking of classmates, there's this one woman and she took a serious interest in me (seems cool and a decent person too
). if this was a couple years ago, i woulda been whoa ok
and been overthinking it, but i came here to study and if it works over time so be it. we spent a couple nights out with mutual classmates/friends where we keep getting closer. we both are having to press the

also brand new city with too many people as well as too many classmates for me to be getting caught up so early, if we digging each other now hopefully we will later too. we both had no intention of being with classmates so im not going back on that just cause of one person.
anyway cant update as frequently and trying to stay relatively anonymous as i move forward in this chapter (so i gotta skimp on some details) but i feel real good in this new city and it seems like i'll prosper here as a man and a learner mostly. i've chilled out completely and lost if and any thirst I ever had. I'm playing the game differently now, all that other chasing/worrying/ stuff people can have that. if females are part of the plan, that's great but I'm not rushing into shyt. Its just good to be somewhere different
