Man this chik did my boy dirty.
He was with the chik for 2 years. She had 2 kids 11 and 9. He dated her for a year then moved in. Decided to play the father figure to them kids. He thought everything was cool till out of nowhere she told him he needs to be more of a man. They went from splitting the rent to him paying for it in full. When he moved in, she decided to go back to finish up her masters in teaching. When she graduated in May, she all of a sudden felt she needed "a break"
..... then "some space" 
. So a month passes and they still talk a lot just see each other a little less, but since he moved out she's got an eviction notice, and asked him for some money so her and the kids don't get the boot. He helps out because at that point there was hope of them going back how it used to be and he also had an attachment to them kids 
, dude was just looking out. So that was settled. The she asks dude to take some of his things out the house so the kids have more space 
. Dude told me like 2 weeks after she said that, she told him to come get all his shyt and maybe they should start dating other people 
. So he doesn't rush to do it. Like a week after she told him she was dating someone else and it's weird having his stuff in the house when she has company 
. Bad move on his part, but he asked who the new dude was? 
. Turned it out it was an old friend of ole' girl. Dude waited patiently in line.
So now ,y boy hates black women after this.

I actually don't understand how some people go through cycles of being treated so poorly by these people who they believe claim to love them. Even when everything's going well or on the right path, I'm still a little skeptical of any situation with someone. Now let alone chasing your tail again and again trying to make someone happy. Like what would happen if he won her back over? The next 1, 2, 5, 10 years are gonna be pleasant? When I first started reading this thread maybe a year or two ago, I didn't really get it because I was too naive and not really noticing the hamster wheel that we put ourselves in. I took my lumps and learned from them. I still think women are beautiful, I still don't mind getting attention one bit, but I don't fear disinterest or if something falls apart or fades away. Enjoy each moment. Even right now when I'm studying lectures or reading ahead for tomorrow's lectures, I enjoy this moment I can learn this particular subject in a structured manner once again.
