met a girl 3 days ago. came home on Saturday from running errands and getting a haircut...ask what shes up to? she says shes been studying but has nothing planned tonight. I suggest she reward herself by joining me on a date...she obliged

any time a girl flakes on you it should merely open up another opportunity for somebody to prove themselves. Only way that's possible is if you got options though. Never relinquish your options brehs. Don't have to focus your attention or date all of em...but always have a lineup of 3+ women in rotation to stifle the bullshyt.

I have someone in my life who is exactly like this. Just super defensive. They whine but anytime you try to offer advice you get a myriad of excuses. Can't have a productive convo like that.

My remedy to this is to be quiet. Pepper the conversation with the occassional 'uh huhs' and 'yeas'. Eventually they will move to another soapbox to annoy somebody else.

telling someone to take a college refresher is not really a wise thing to say. graduating from college doesn't guarantee you sh1t. it is time consuming and usuallyy a waste of time for those who already hate schooling and have no direction.

getting a certification in a well sought after skillset...i.e. programming does guarantee u a job almost immediately after graduation. and u can be done with schooling on this in a few months to a year. when i tell people to go to school, i tell them exactly what to go to school for so their journey to making real money is a short as possible. hearing a vague "go back to school" is a very good way to provoke me into wanting to b1tchslap someone. but that's besides the point of this thread.

I didnt blurt out out take college courses, it was mentioned during conversation regarding solutions to possibly acquire better job opportunities.

This was after she didnt get a call back from a fast food restaurant.

Which she was upset about...lol

just got out a 2 1/2 yr relationship. im not really upset or disappointed at all. is this normal? i kinda question if i had fallen out of love before. i dunno i think id been above and beyond patient w/ this woman and her many issues. always selfless. her mother twice divorced and abusively took it out on her daughters. i saw those same traits beginning to be passed down and manifesting. extreme highs and lows. flying off at the handle over the slightest thing. then, tearfully apologizing moments later. as a man, certain things i just will not stand for. i must be honored and respected.
as a person im very laid back and slow to anger. but i could possibly foresee the relationship taking a dangerous turn. an apology only carries so much weight after repeat offenses. if the roles were reversed, theres no way it would be deemed acceptable. in our last convo i told her, 'i wouldnt feel comfortable havin a child w/ u b/c i think U may be abusive.' honestly thats a rough thing to tell someone you were making plans to spend the rest of your life w/. but just too many red lights to 'work it out.' telling others about her behavior (my mom's a physic nurse) after the fact, i believe there r some mental issues there...always drama surrounding her and her family. the polar opposite of me and mine. i just feel weight lifted from myself. going to pick up my ring tomorrow after work.
