Yeah exactly. That's why I don't even really listen to most rap anymore. I selectively choose. I don't watch tv other than football. Watching what I let in my mind has made monumental improvements in my peace of mind. All of that competition and tearing down others is unnecessary. I'd rather build another one up... and I'll respect his castle as long as he respects mine.

I avoid most rap like the plague now, it's just such a destructive form of music, really has a negative impact on the community and the minds of people in general.

I wouldnt call him out necessarily. he needs the time and peace to see things for what they are. everyone got their own way of coping. getting those old visions out is hard to do. but when you look at whats really happening, its easier to let go. dude needs to see how much more life has to offer, and to take that risk and let go.

Eh, I want him to post in here, he's had enough time as far as I'm concerned, sometimes it's necessary for tough love. I've told him to travel, he's done a bit but not outside the US yet, I told him to go to Brazil, Colombia or Costa Rica and I think he's going to.

I have very few friends, so to see one of my peoples go through this shyt again is just :ninjawhat: worthy as I talk about said woman. Dude was doing fine for the last 7 months, gets an email from her and they argue and now dude is back at square 1.

There are a lot of beautiful women in Colombia, and I believe it has the lowest divorce rate in the world. You'll find much better women outside of the tourist cities, but as a whole they are better than American women as well, which isn't much of a surprise. I stayed in Cartagena and went to Barranquilla and Santa Marta, it's the perfect trifecta of cities.

I love Brazil, it's probably my favorite place on the planet, but Colombia is extremely dope as well. My love for Brazil is the culture and the country as well, so many people of color, you feel at home despite the language difference.

You will see stunning women in both countries, I think Brazilian people in general are just naturally friendlier though. You can strike up a convo with damn near anyone, nobody is really guarded like they are here. Colombia they can be a little more guarded than Brazil, but still a hell of a lot more friendly than the US. You will never get told off in a rude manner if you're respectful, ever, most of these women are raised with men in the home so that shyt doesn't fly.

It's hard for me to compare, if you count all my trips to Brazil I probably was there for 6 and a half months, where as I was in Colombia for around 3 weeks. You can't go wrong with Colombia though, I loved it there, just getting outside of the US and slowing down the pace of life is so relaxing. We're talking about two countries where the average citizen makes $9k and 10k per year, yet they are happier than we are.

It just goes to show you that pure materialism isn't where it's at, and yet that's what we're taught to worship here-- money. In the Bible, God chastised the Israelites for making a golden calf and worshipping it, and yet what is the symbol of a positive market on wallstreet? The bull. History repeats itself. I find we're meant to be much more social than we are in America.

I definitely have to travel the world man just to see how different things can be, because from my boy that travels... he went to Kenya and he deals with Kenyan women where he's working at overseas... he said it's way different. Those women cater to him.

Yeah, money just brings out the greed in people, makes people want to always upgrade and when they can't they get depressed. I feel if people just took a step back and weren't as concerned with keeping up with Joneses or how they appeared we'd be a lot better. Our culture is entirely too self centered and about getting yours.

other countries raise their girls to be humble. I like a woman with good family values. got a family theyre close to.


but I always got this nagging feeling that a lot of the ones in foriegn countries who are looking for an american are looking for a come up. the most important thing is find out if shes more about a family and not partying. thats why brazil looks like party town to me, but not for something serious. plus, theyre sexual as hell. I dont know if Id trust a broad who loves to show off her bikini body with her ass all hanging out all day to be wifey.

But I am who malta is talking about. I posted about this on neogaf in the dating thread but this seems better. It was actually a 5 year relationship and ended a while ago but we kept in contact which I didn't want. I stopped talking to her in April after she said she wanted kids soon if we got back together. That is after telling me we would never get back together. I can get other women that's not the problem its that I hate getting to know new people with all their insecurities and 5 years is a long time to just flush down the drain. We were best friends and we did talk about marriage and having kids plus I can't front I made mistakes, never cheated but Im not blameless.


I don't want her back, she already has a new man so that door is shut but hearing that she still loves me is cruel. Hearing from her after 7 months after I told her not to contact me was not cool it just brings back memories.

I agree that a lot of them definitely want a green card to get in the states and those are to be avoided. There is also a huge danger of bringing that type of woman over here and her being influenced by american culture and turning into an americanized woman.

I also agree with the promiscuity that is prevalent in much of brazillian culture. There's a reason it's being considered a destination for american men to travel. A lot of them go down there for sex and from what I'm seeing, a lot of the women do show off their body. Obviously there are those who aren't promiscuous, but Brazil has a culture very focused on showing off physical beauty.

I have no illusions as some foreign country as the mecca for finding a decent woman, because if you are a sucker simp negro, you will get taken advantage of-- bottom line. I'm more interested in just experiencing the overall vibe of interactions between man and woman elsewhere in the world. I'm definitely not looking to rush off to some foreign country to smash foreign whores nor am I looking for some wifey, but I want to see how men and women interact in a nation not rife with feminism.
