I started doing this most people I encounter through out the day. I find that it makes me more present and in the moment. It also allows me to work on not second guessing myself because it makes "going in" like a reflex

I work at a restaurant on King and 80% of the female staff love Da Gawd. I'm still in the process of getting my shyt together so going out, partying, meeting females isn't really a priority for me right now. But I get looks of interest on the regular here.... I just don't approach.

Yeah I've found the by the books wait such and such shyt isn't for me. If I'm not getting my attention reciprocated I just tell them hit me up if you change your mind. Ain't got the patience nowadays to "play the game".

To an extent. But if you have initially given out your invite and they are on games then simply tell them if they change their mind hit you up. So I did the most mature thing I could do and just cut off all the girls on my roster who I didn't plan on being with. It was the right thing to do. Here are my thoughts.

The positive:
-I've been more productive and able to get back to some of my hobbies and passions
-No drama. I don't have to worry about any arguments or negativity.

The negatives:
-I aint gon' lie, it is a bit lonely over here. I just spent this whole weekend in the house by myself.

Overall, I'm good. Although, it's going to be hard to break my habit of hitting a chick up just for companionship. Older single brehs, how da fukk do yall manage this shyt without having a bunch of homies to kick it with?

preciate it. I just set up some meet up last night with a average beckie and I woke up the next day like why bother. I'm not trying to take it any further than some top. Some top that probably aint gonna do shyt for me. So why bother.

If a chick not already on her grizzy got some ambitions, good looking, take care of herself I aint bothering because I'm doing all of that shyt. Like attracts like. Until I start holding myself to a higher standard why should I expect to attract that standard regularly?

This is real shyt. I'm at the same point also. It's been hard for me to turn down girls when they're always choosing but like you said, it only leads to feelings of emptiness and irritation.
