Honeslty breh, I usually try to lock eyes with them first if I can. If i get some type of positive reaction, like a smile, or if she does a double take, then I'll approach. I will compliment her on her make up, or her outfit - saying that it matches her style and it is very becomming over her.

Don't over think it - just say something that compliments her and say something that you noticed about her. Woman love compliments. And always look into her eyes when you talk to her, if you don't have confidence, then fake it. I say look into her eyes because its a form of dominance; if you are looking away and not at her, she may take it that you are scared.
