There are some posts I read in this thread that make me doubt whether nikkas have actually been in a relationship before. That "I won" retort is a clear indication that you dropped the ball. you should have stuck to your guns and told her that you were not going to do it. with women everything is about setting your stool out from day 1 and this sh1t won't happen that often. it still will from time to time because, guess what, SHE'S A WOMAN AND THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE PROGRAMMED TO DO (reinforcing just in case that point hasn't resonated)

on the flipside, if you set a precedent from day 1 that you WILL concede and give in when she's throwing a tantrum, then this sh1t will happen more and more frequently

I don't think that her pettiness is the problem, its her KNOWING WHAT SHE'S DOING that's a problem. You're absolutely right, women are programmed to be princesses, so they're going to do certain things to get their way. But when she's claiming victory, that's a whole new game. At that point she's not "wifey", she's made herself (or at least acknowledged to herself) that the two of them are in competition. As ANY adult in this world knows, the outside world couldn't give a fukk about you any less than it already does, so having to compete outside AND at home isn't worth it. Her throwing a tantrum INTENTIONALLY, that's a big proverbial slap. She sealed the deal with those two little words.

Not all chicks are as petty as that. There are certain thing women can and will get petty about. Stuff like what she was doing is annoying fukkery of the highest order.

And two years is nothing in the grand scale of things. I was in a relationship for 13 years I know most of the fukked up things a woman can try and do.

I also know that these early indicators are signs of when times aren't as good that kind of pettiness can ramp up into more dangerous stuff that can push a brehs sanity.

But you're right laying the law down early can work. But homeboys chick sounds like the sort of woman who you slowly grow to despise.

that girl is showing unwifeable characteristics. if she's that unreasonable / irrational / illogical over something so small, when they encounter more difficult situations, she will make his life a living hell. notice i said "will". not "may" or "could". a growling dog with a stiff tail is more likely to bite than a dog with an excited tail and a eager look.

i also sense she's lazy. that type of laziness and attitude are detrimental to the progress or growth of a successful relationship.
