Dude is still one of my good guy friends to this day, but we will never do anything sexual again. He didn't do a good job... hell his ass didnt even do a decent job.

As a woman that has experienced abuse personally and ill treatment, It is not something anyone "wants", but it is something you are expected to experience. Most girls are taught men aint shyt from birth, so when these aint shyt nyggas grow up to be aint shyt men, females arent surprised when they get abused, mistreated, ect. And a lot of times, the women come from abusive or dysfunctional homes themselves so the bullshyt they are dealing with is only a reflection of what they know and have gotten used to.

This is a complex issue, but I will say this bruhs... be careful and be patient. There are still good women out there who want to have and develop healthy relationships. They just arn't the majority.

I understand your sentiment, but I disagree. Yes, some do play the victim, but some don't and don't know any better. Some don't believe that they are worthy of having a good guy. Some don't think that they are good enough for someone who will do right by them especially if they have never experienced it or witnessed it.

I don't look for excitement or anything of that nature. I prefer a normal ass dude who has his head on straight.

And not necessarily. I have never dated a "thug" but I have dated a couple bad boys. Ive never been cheated on (to my knowledge) but I have been in some dysfunctional ass relationships in the past. I have dated nice guys as well though.

Me getting older had very little to with it. I got to a point where I had to take responsibility for my fukc ups in my failed relationships and work on myself so I can ultimately be a better partner.

And its not even about wanting a "decent man", for me it's about having someone who compliments me and is with me for selfless reasons. As I have gotten older, all that bs I held on to when I was younger went out the door and I desire something deeper now. And not to say I didn't then, but I didn't know how to cultivate it.
