I got homies that I only hear from when they call to vent about some dumb shyt their chick is mad about... I would love to know more about the dating scene in Canada and how it's changed from the early 2000s to now.

Dating here is good but very flaky. I've only lived here since late 2015 moving over from London and only started dating mid 2017.

The scene here is interesting if you're an international guy dating is fairly easy. Plenty of women and new ones arriving all the time. Vancouver seems to have more single women than men and most women here work in either tech, film, finance or real estate so they have their own money mostly.

I do pretty well. I'm a black British breh and have no real problems dating women of any ethnicity. Mostly dated Asian women here as the quality of black women is not good, though improving. I guess dating for me is slightly different as I'm in my late 30s so what I'm seeking from these chicks is a bit different. I was coming out of a long relationship. So went crazy for a while with lots of different women.

I think I've mostly had my fun and now want something a bit more stable.

side note- Am I overly shallow brehs for not wanting to date a woman who wears weaves and wigs ALL the time? I’m not used to this shyt. Every black chick I‘ve dated rock the natural. Not to mention she’s a shea butter lgbtqlmnopqr+ Feminist. We clearly separate when it comes to certain issues.

I can take or leave the wigs. I will say the black women I've dated here thankfully have all had natural hair.

But Shea Butter is a no-no to me. I've complained about how many outwardly suitable black women here in Van practice it. Was seeing this Nigerian Candian chick a few months back and boy the convos we would have. Had me rolling my eyes at the fraff she would talk about. I would consider myself liberal on many things. But the nonsense some of these chicks would come with made me laugh. I don't mind a feminist whose a realist. the problem is these chicks are mostly crazy.
