How does this even happen? And for years? The few times I’ve made female friends that I hang out with independent of a larger group, I’m usually pretty clear about what I want. Or they tend to disappear once they get a new man.

My close female home girl hit me with a crazy question the other day.
She said do I think we'll be together in the future?
Its crazy because
1) Im seeing/talking to her sister currently - And she knows this.
2) Before we became good friends we both planned to smash but it never happened. Ima keep it real she ending up friendzoning me years ago for a number of reasons.
I caught her just at the end of her hoe phase and didn't capitalise.
3) Shes currently seeing someone also - in which I was given her advice
Just made me think clearly she doesn't want or see me and her sister working out.
Which is fine because I dont and thats why me and her sister agreed to keep it casual.
Woman are crazy man.

It's just an ego boost for her. Siblings can be competitive. She just wants you to tell her that you'd rather be with her than her sister. It has nothing to do with her relationship or your relationship with her sister. It was purely an ego boost.
