I've bumped into a few old team chicks since I been out in the field again. Smashed one from the club, been on one date with another chick and tentatively might be able to swing three dates with three other chicks. I think post-covid, chicks that weren't in these streets regularly are out turning up and looking to have fun. Nothing like someone new though. I think my post-covid summer official starts when I smash someone new that isn't through online dating.

Any tips for getting back in the field brehs? I been out for a while since my cold approach fuxk up. But i hit up the mall again and I know it’s a shotty place for this but it was baddies out, even the bytch that rang me up at pacsun I can’t even lie I only went with family today so I wouldn’t look like a sex fiend.

If you did it pre-pandemic, give yourself a little breathing room and remember you won't be back where you started after being off for a year. I just started to find my groove again last wknd after being out of sync w/ new chicks since I restarted socializing in early May... Like I was getting #s, but because I was too lit, the #s were worthless smh. And then I realized I wasn't really talking about shyt, and then I realized that I was low energy.

If you are new to hollering/cold approaching, give yourself small goals that you can work on each time, like solid eye contact or smiling or changing convo topics or bringing up sex in a non-creepy way. If you try to do all of those things at once, it can be overwhelming, but if you work on one thing at a time, get good at it, and then move to the next thing, your progress becomes more tangible and you can feel yourself getting better. That method is called 'Deliberate Practice'. Sports psychologist use it for athletes a lot, but it applies to anything you want to get better at.

What condoms are you using?

I've found if I've been seeing someone for a while and we are having unprotected sex and I start seeing someone new and I'm protected, it takes a while for me to get used to condoms again.
