Lots of reasons, circumstances change, relationships end or start to go badly, their other option got into a relationship, you happened to come into their mind,
my advice is don't hold grudges and don't lead with an ego. Be open. Not everyone is feeling you exactly when you are feeling them. Or the exact same way. Or they are feeling you, but someone is closer to them, or they have more history. Whatever. There are a dozen variables.
I know not everyone is the same, but I can switch attractions rapidly, all it takes is a few minutes, so I never let someone I like/I want pass by me, because of my ego.
also, give the same kind of grace you would want given. my approach to these things is a lot softer than a lot of advice men will give, but to me, so much of that is just based in like belligerence lol they want to outraged and angry, more than they want the person.

i truly believe women cant handle the pressure that comes with a man putting all faith in them. Better off having other woman that you talk to and spend time with platonically to fill in certain gaps because a woman isnt going to develop certain interests or attributes without feeling resentful. Its just the way they are.
I for example love women who are intellectual. I realized after a while that my girl isnt really that smart though and is too emotionally driven to have a lot of the debates or discussions I like to have. Would rather have that sort of dialogue with another woman on a no-strings attached basis than constantly try to edify my woman - making her feel condescended in the process.

and of course, I remember and I am thinking, "yeah, you ghosted me in January", you want to ask what I am doing months later? another was calling me, and I was joking around, she said "what I can't call you to say hi", and I said of course you can, it's just never happened, all the years I've known you lol
another just texted me at like 8;00 AM, "Hi, how are doing?" werido shyt to me, but I replied normally, and never got an answer.
