I want to but I been burned so many times in my life. I got battle scars on top of battle scars and baggage that makes it so hard for me to trust any woman.
Opening up would have me feeling like a fish out of water, suffocating, not able to breathe, in an environment that I'm sure will be the death of me.
I talked to a therapist last week for the first time in my life and she told me "But isn't that what love is about? Being open and taking that chance?"
I know she's right but man... I don't know if I got it in me to take another L in love these days
The next one just might be the one that breaks your boy, have me laying in the bed playing sad love songs like

Silly question, but what do y'all think of stunting a bit on social media? Highlighting your lifestyle? I'm personally not into a lot of travel like some of these people. I travel for work for one and two I'm not enamored by a bunch of excessive travel, but I do have cool hobbies and interests. I post and highlight some stuff but I think social media/IG is a way to highlight your lifestyle resume if that makes sense and may help with attracting partners. Thoughts?
Ig is really just a social resume. I post myself doing things I enjoy. Don't force it, use it to your advantage

Yea really I just post pics of family, a photoshoot my friend wanted me in, some of my hobbies (gardening, cooking, martial arts) and maybe some travel.
Sad indeed. I for example just made an IG story about my tailor coming over and measuring me for a sportscoat. It signals I have disposable income to do that lol.
I hate IG//Socials but to my own detriment. I know I probably miss out on a lot of plays not being on all that shyt.

i shy away from it cause I genuinely don’t know how to make a profile look “cool” for shorties and I haven’t got a chance to really travel plus I know women like to compare/compete on where they’ve travelled so
I’d rather not use it cause then it gives you a bit of mystery and less for her to judge me about.
The thing is I do like nice shyt haha. When I generally do it, it's authentic, but I get the whole 'sell the dream' thing a bit.
Sometimes I'm posting memes or interesting stuff also.
