That's the best case scenario.
My overall text strategy is to send a text that's interesting/funny, but doesn't
require a response.
I'd just peruse reddit or twitter or something, and send something like this
"When it's time to get off work"
"Me when the direct deposit hits"
"Look like my Auntie Denise"
And that's it. That's the text. It'd be even better if it was a meme.
I don't expect the broad to write back.
If she does say "lol" or "ha" or whatever - I can read it, and keep it moving.
The mere act of me sending something funny - communicates to her that I'm thinking about her. And that's all that is necessary.
Now if she wanna have a conversation, we can do that.
Usually if I send something, she'll be like "how's your day, what's up with you, etc"
From there - i tell her my day, ask about hers, and
see if she has anything planned for tonight
