It really depends. It sounds like you were moving too fast and she was telling you to chill out. There are a rare few women out there who aren't out there to where you can do stuff with them after going out with them once or twice. She might be in that category. On the other hand, she could have also lost interest in you, but the fact that she said let's be friends first hints to me that she is saying slow down.

first week is syallabus week....meaning unless your school is super strict the workload will be easy. mack like hell this week. all these chicks are new to you (and some new as well) and are really open to chatting, making new friends n shyt. have your fun at this portion of the semester and not the middle or end when the workload piles up... and contrary to popular belief nikkas in college DO be cuffin, so get you a good freshman shorty to start on the team before the frat nikkas turn all of them into whores
